Today for a change of pace we went for a hike on Monte Susana. The trails were snowy, so we used poles for stability and slid through some slippery spots to climb to beautiful viewpoints of Ushuaia and the Beagle Channel. During our picnic lunch our guides, Violeta and Maureen, pulled out maps to help us understand the orientation of the island we are on in relation to Chile and Antarctica. Bobby spearheaded a snowman building effort. We’re back at the hostel now preparing to dogsled to our final dinner together!
